The Growth Hormone World Tour was Esmeralda Dimuzio's first headlining world tour.
On May 4, 2005, Esmeralda did a warm-up performance at Dr. C's to prepare for the tour.
On the Asian and Australian leg of the tour, Esmeralda premiered songs from her album Imperfect Balance, which was released shortly afterwards.
The last leg of the tour was cancelled due to the untimely death of would-be opening act Celine McLachlan; the cancelled dates were then rescheduled following the release of What I'm Missing. The Athens show was performed March 30th with then-collab partners the3stars as an opening act; Answer My Dreams, their collaboration, was performed at that show.
