"Storm the Castle is a collaborative EP by the Sisters Against Sisters Against Shitty Singers aka S.A.S.A.S.S., a supergroup composed of "sisters" Bichastasia and Putanovska, Tentrita Troll (of Gingers+Jesus), and Wolf Wolfe. The EP includes three original compositions, as well as a cover of Mel & Kim.

Background[edit | edit source]

The Sisters Against Sisters Against Shitty Singers was founded by Tentrita Troll, after it was announced that Sisters Against Shitty Singers would release a second single under the name "SASS 2.0". Feeling that Cassie Fox, Danelle Becker, Faith DeLuna, and Violetta DiNozzo had no right to call anybody else "shitty," Bichastasia approached Tentrita Troll about releasing a collaborative effort. Bichastasia's older half-sister Putanovska and Wolf Wolfe soon joined the pair. They decided to name the EP "Storm the Castle", a title which was viciously stolen by SASS 2.0 from Putanovska's locked computer files.

Becker hit back at S.A.S.A.S.S. by claiming that the new SASS effort was not a "bitch" single like "Queens of Anarchy" was. However, S.A.S.A.S.S. persisted, stating that they are still against sisters against shitty singers. Due to a lack of interest in the SASS 2.0 single and DeLuna's alleged bullying, Fox (the only tolerable member) pulled out. Becker and DiNozzo abandoned the SASS 2.0 project in order to release a duet of their own (which would also be cancelled). Faith DeLuna was deported to Belarus.

Wolf Wolfe contributed the group's title track "S.A.S.A.S.S." to the EP. Although it may bare similarities to Spice Girls' "The Lady Is a Vamp", it is an entirely original composition that was written and orchestrated by Wolfe in thirty-seven minutes. Bichastasia and Tentrita Troll duet on "Only Troll (In the World)", taken from the former's album Big Bad Boss Bicha. Tentrita Troll wrote a power ballad entitled "In the Dark", which has been called one of the most beautiful songs ever written. The adlibs were praised as "beautifully operatic" and "life-changing." "Interracial Facial", a duet between Bichastasia and Wolfe also from Big Bad Boss Bicha, was also included. Putanovska and Tentrita provide backing vocals. The group also covered Mel & Kim's groundbreaking hit "Respectable". Mel, of Mel & Kim was originally intended to be a member of the group, but pulled out and was replaced by Wolf Wolfe.
