'Wait A Minute' is song by British pop singer Anna Jones, and is the first single lifted from her début album which is to be released Spring 2011.

Background[edit | edit source]

The track was written before Anna signed with Strawberry Records. She allegedly performed the track to the record company during her audition.

For a while, another album track, 'DJ' was going to be released, but Anna decided Wait A Minute would have been a better option. 'DJ' is scheduled for release as second single.

Red One is the producer of the song. Anna has repeatedly said that she was so honored to work with him. He also has produced a number of tracks on her upcoming album.

Release and Reception[edit | edit source]

Anna announced that the single would be released on 31st January 2011 with a rush release style, however, she later decided that a better option for a new act would not be the rush release process. She later announced the track would be released on the 21st February 2011.

The song premiered on the 8th January 2011 and initially received positive reception. It was described as 'amazing' and 'a killer debut' by fans.
