Serpentine is a song from Dr. C and the Predicates and Tasha, from Tasha's movie, The Cardplayer. The song was also a last-minute addition to Dr. C and the Predicates' album, Superficial, once they knew they wanted to release it as a single. For single release, it was released as a double A-side with Storm In A Teacup, a track from Tasha's album Naked, which was remixed by Danish dance diva Charlie C for single release.

The single proved to be very successful, reaching #2, ironically enough behind Charlie C, and ended up going Gold, coming just short of a Platinum certification.
