Next Generation Records, also known simply as (The) Next Generation or NG, is the newest record label around, originally founded by British rapper Coral Harris. Headquartered in London, England, Next Generation was established in April 2012. The label was formed as Harris originally turned down many record offers, claiming the only other labels were either tailored to 'mainstream acts' or 'indie acts', and claimed their was a gap in the industry for "cool, young acts".

History[edit | edit source]

Next Generation Records was officially established on April 04, 2012. The first artists to be signed were founder Coral Harris and two boybands from the massively successful reality show The Uraps Factor, 5th place Jetfire and 7th place Kicks. Coral also managed to sign on the massively succesful Brett Clarkson the same month. After this signing, Coral made another big signing, hiring Kleo as her assistant chief executive. May saw Iris being signed, as well as newcomer Olivia Faye. Isaac Bellamy, Calvin Hawthorne and Electra have since been signed.
