Full Quality is a British emo rock band. The band formed in January 2007 and gained fans on the local scene before auditioning for Uraps: Unsigned in the fall and making it through to the semifinals. After losing in the contest's early stages, the band continued on, returning to the spotlight when they announced they would represent France in Uravision. The band released their first single "Douchebag City" in January 2009.

Members[edit | edit source]

Karen Wilson is the band's lead singer. According to her, she was chosen to sing lead because "the dudes sing like shit". Karen is a huge slut; she confessed that she lost her virginity at the age of 10, and looks to Malena as a role model. She despises whiny people and geezerly music.

Zack Michaels is the drummer, whose appearance and personality mirrors the stereotypical emo based on his hairstyle, outfits, and the fact that he constantly talks about how he sucks at life.

Joe Ford is the lead guitarist and primary songwriter of the group. Joe is the most involved in the music, considering he makes much of the band's decisions.

Sean Perry is the bassist but he is better known for the fact he has an outstanding arrest record.

Formation and Uraps: Unsigned[edit | edit source]

Karen, Zack, Joe, and Sean met in high school, sharing a common interest in everything about the rock and roll lifestyle. They decided to form a band and even though people thought they'd screw up big time they actually sounded quite decent when playing live at the local clubs.

In the fall of 2007, Joe discovered that a new TV show was holding auditions for a talent competition that would give a record deal to the best unsigned band - that show was Uraps: Unsigned. He thought the band should give it a shot, and so they agreed. The band played in front of judges Arwyn Knight, Alexis, and Braxton and impressed all of them - even Alexis (though she thought the band would be better off without Karen). The band made it through to the top 12 and competed against eleven other unsigned bands for a record deal.

Uraps: Unsigned performances[edit | edit source]

The band were then eliminated. BOO.

Uravision 2008[edit | edit source]

Full Quality didn't give up. Thanks to Zack, whose mother was born in France, the band became France's choice to represent them in Uravision 2008, chosen at the last minute when the country's first choice representative, Summer Fox, died suddenly. Full Quality's entry in the contest was "Douchebag City", which unsurprisingly was written by Joe. Full Quality came in sixth place.

The present[edit | edit source]

Full Quality released their first single "Douchebag City" on January 12, 2009. Following that, they will participate in the third Tango Challenge, where they were paired up with Ellen Fitzpatrick.

The day before their second single charted, all of the band members died.
