Jason Adams (Born Jason Andrew Adams on April 13th, 1989) known simply as Jason is a male popstar from the UK. He began his career with his debut single "Sabotage", a cover of the song by Kristinia DeBarge, which just peaked outside the top ten (#11). His debut album Veins debuted at #2 and spawned two more singles. He took a musical hiatus in the summer of 2011 and is gearing up to release his sophomore album in the first quarter of 2013.

Early Life[edit | edit source]

Jason and his family emigrated to Australia when Jason as only 4 years old. They moved to Melbourne as that's where Jason's father was from. They lived in Melbourne for 5 years before moving to Sydney. After 12 years living down under, the family moved back to Wales after the death of Jason's grandmother (his mother's mother). From a very young age, Jason was always musical and his dream as a child was to become a popstar. He played many gigs from the age of 13 up until he was discovered..

Early 2011 - Veins[edit | edit source]

One day, superstar Bella-May discovered him on YouTube and thought he had 'something special'. Bella-May called him up and offered him a record contract with her label, Vampire Crypt Records.

Jason Adams' debut single, 'Sabotage' was for a release on 24th January 2011. The song charted at #11 on the URAPS singles chart, thus having mederate success. His 2nd single, 'OGC' was released on March 28 and stormed the charts at #4. The same weak, Jason's debut album Veins peaked at #1. The third single taken from the album was 'You Were The One' in May 2011. The album's final release was supposed to be 'Gagging For It' which featured female vocalist Kleo, but plans were cancelled due to the under-performance of previous single, "You Were The One".

He fell out with his former label, Vampire Crypt Records, in March 2011 and signed a deal with Trish Records to release his album and all other material released in the future. He claimed Vamp. Records wanted him to go in a direction he didn't want to go and that Trish Records offered him "everything a recording artist wanted".

In April 2011, superstar 4tune publicly 'adopted' Jason, claiming he was "cute" and said that she could "make a superstar out of him". Since then, it has been said by Jason that the adoption was a publicity stunt in order to boost his celebrity profile. Jason (alongside Candi) supported 4tune on her Disco rehab: future dirty disco sound tour. In May, Jason fell out with label boss Trish, claiming she was "a nightmare to work with" and that everything she promised him regarding him for his music career was "a lie". The deal ended. Jason was picked up by Fusion Records and began working on his 2nd studio album, which remains unreleased.

In June 2011, Jason was admitted to an acute mental care facility in London after it was revealed he suffered from bipolar disorder and ADHD and, according to his PR, "posed as a threat to himself and others". He spent 12 months in care until he was deemed stable enough to leave.

2012 - Second Album[edit | edit source]

Jason returned to the scene in July 2012. He announced the release of a single entitled "No Such Thing As Love". Plans for the single release were scrapped when Jason announced he wanted to leave the music industry in order to pursue a career in modelling. He promised his fans that he will release his anticipated second album in early 2013. So far, Jason has worked with Tawgs Salter, will.i.am, Rock Mafia and Thriller Jill on the album, which he says is much more electronic than his debut and said the album's overall genre would be synthpop. He said the track produced by will.i.am was requested by Fusion Records as a 'hit' to sell the album, hinting it will be the track released as the lead single.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

In early 2011, Jason came out as homosexual and began a relationship with fellow singer Chris Diamond until Diamond was shot dead in March 2011. Jason notoriously stated that he wasn't majorly affected by Diamond's death as the pair were not in love. He added that "life goes on" (a very bad choice of words) and sent his condolences to Diamond's family.

On August 28th 2011, Jason rather bizarrely married pop singer Iris when he escaped from his mental institution. Despite the fact that Iris is female, Jason stated he loved her. Not long after the pair got hitched, it was revealed Iris was pregnant with triplets. She later lost one of the baby's due to an accident. Jason filed for divorce from Iris in May 2012 without telling her. She found out about the divorce via a newspaper, and ended up in hospital after attempting suicide due to the heartbreaking news. On June 23rd, Iris gave birth to a boy named Butler Caymon Henderson and a girl named Lambert Aurora Henderson. Jason has seen his kids, but according to Jason, Iris tends to behave in a childlike manner by calling him names like "poo poo head" and "meanie" every time he visits.
